Your Support is Critical to Our
Success!
The Denver Indian Family Resource Center (DIFRC) is an incorporated
not-for-profit charitable organization, allowing contributions to
the Center to be tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Service
code.
DIFRC
understands AI/AN cultural needs and has the expertise to provide
them with culturally appropriate services. Our referral and child
advocacy work is fundamental to ensuring that Indian children get
access to the best services available and that they are
treated with respect. Support
from individuals, foundations, corporations or governmental
agencies allows us to broaden our appeal and meet more need in a
state where over 600 Indian children are in out-of-home
placements.
Our success over the
last nine years demonstrates that our services play a vital role in
protecting Indian children and strengthening their families. Since
its inception in 2000, DIFRC has achieved the following:
-
Provided intensive child welfare services to 605 Denver
AI/AN families and 1,475 children
-
Reunited 298 children in the foster care system with
their families
-
Established and sustained relationships with 72 tribal
nations
We rely
upon collaborating agencies to work with us to meet the diverse
needs of children and families in the Denver Indian community. We need individuals, corporations, foundations and government
agencies to sustain us on our journey.
If you
are in a position to lend us support and want to discuss how your
generosity can best make a difference, you can submit
